Patrick Chapman and Rusty Linares Win on the Arkansas River!!!
Story provided by Fred Edwards, Jr.
Team Bass Tournament Series hosted our fifth tournament of the season on the Arkansas River at Pendleton. It was one HOT HOT HOT tournament with several heavy weight limits brought to the scales.
First Place and Big Bass went to the Team of Patrick Chapman and Rusty Linares with a sack full of good fish weighing 19.00 lbs even and a 6.39 toad as a kicker. They took home $1085.00 for winning and $170.00 for Big Bass.
Second Place was taken by Teddy Bogard and Kirk Copeland. They had a limit tipping the scales at 17.90 lbs. They earned $425.00 for their efforts.
Third Place was captured by the Grandfather and Grandson team of Rolston Lusby and Roger Hackney Sr. with a limit weighing in at 17.09 pounds. They took home a check for $170.00.
Here is a little bit of advice; keep an eye on 14-year-old Rolston. Someday he will be in the Big Leagues swinging a 7-foot bat at the bass. He is a top notch angler.
The Rejuvenade Team of the Tournament goes to Ronnie Hartsfield and Brent Ward with a Fourth Place finish weighing five alive for 16.05 lbs. Outdoor Specialty Products provides Rejuvenade to the team that finishes just outside the money to help improve their weights. Go to www.bassmedics.com for more information.
