SOUTHERN DIVISION NEWS:
First off let me say that I am sorry for the delay on posting results lately. We have been extremely busy on our "DAY JOBS" and anyone who knows us, knows we really need our "DAY JOBS", because we can't seem to figure these fish out and we don't sing well either. So here are the latest results from the trail.

Our day started out with sweltering temps early, and it didn't let up all day. But, the water looked a lot better than it had in the past few weeks. We had 15 teams show to endure the heat and try their luck. As temps began to rise it seemed the breeze began to fade. Teams found the bite slow but they endured and showed patience. It paid off in the end for the team of Mike Hutchinson and Steve Crain. They wrapped up 1st Place with a limit weighing in at 14.74 lbs. Hutchinson and Crain also won our "River Kings" Open Tournament held in Pine Bluff. They are on fire! 2nd Place went to Brett Rogers and Steve Henderson with a bag weighing 13.67 lbs., and 3rd Place went to John McNeil and Ronnie Hackney with a limit of 13.66 lbs. Our next tournament will be out of Pendelton on July 25th. We'll see ya'll there.

Teams don't forget the Team Bass Tournament on Sunday, July 26th at Pine Bluff.

CHOICE DIVISION: Teams may fish an unlimited number of tournaments within a single region in order to qualify in that region's "Choice Division" and for that region's championship but only their best seven point events will be calculated toward a championship berth regardless of the number of tournaments fished. A team that fishes in two or more divisions within a region automatically accumulates points in that region's "CHOICE DIVISION". A team can qualify for a regional championship via more than one division. Be sure to read the 2009 Rules.
